Essential Job Functions

  • Follow all Safety and Quality Standards
  • Train houseperson and laundry attendants to standard and ensure all safety procedures are understood and being followed.
  • Reports lost items found to Housekeeping Office/Management.  Records in Lost/Found log book located in Housekeeping office
  • Ensures the department leads the charge in regard to recycling efforts and environmental initiatives
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and clean
  • Report any maintenance issues
  • The team leader will work besides the team members in the daily completion of all tasks
    • Wash, dry and fold all linens Examine all the clean linens to ensure cleanliness
    • Collect trash and solid towels, and linen from the room attendants
    • Stock and Prepare linen carts and bag
  • Track Linen Supply
  • Ensure the completion of checklists and allocation sheets by staff
  • Ensure standards and productivity are being meet, by supervising staff and inspecting cleaning of common areas 



  • High School Diploma required
  • Housekeeping experience in hotels or condos
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Experience in a supervisory/management
  • Strong organizational and team management skills
  • Able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
