Job Summary:

The Assistant F&B Manager at the River Course Grill is responsible for the clubhouse and on-course F&B service. The River Course is one of two premier mountain golf courses at Keystone Resort. The F&B operations consist of a full bar, limited breakfast and lunch service and beverage cart refreshment service on the course. Guests of the River Course Grill can soak up the mountain sun on the patio while enjoying a happy hour cocktail or a meal after an enjoyable round of golf. The Assitant Manager of the River Course Grill restaurant manages the day to day operations of the f&b operation and reports to the senior manager of the Keystone Ranch Restaurant and Golf F&B operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Fulfills day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed, and is thoroughly familiar with all areas of restaurant/ golf facility operations.
  • Ensures the efficient operation of the facility or team during assigned schedule.
  • Responsible for scheduling and performance management/evaluations of FOH F&B staff
  • Procure, secure and maintain wine, beer, liquor inventories
  • Maintain and enforce all brand service standards
  • Assist in implementing training strategies for new and current employees
  • Assist in monitoring and handling all guest complaints and institute corrective measures to keep complaints from recurring
  • Assist in meeting financial goals and standards relating to restaurant
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years food and beverage experience - required
  • A minimum of 1 year restaurant supervisory experience - required
  • Strong wine, liquor and beer knowledge - preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is - required.
  • College degree - preferred
  • Certified in TIPS and enforcement of Bartender's Code of Conduct – required within 30 days of hire.
  • Servsafe certified- required within 30 days of hire
  • MS office proficiency - required
  • Experience with PeopleSoft - preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, etc as required
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30lbs

 

The budgeted range starts at $43,000 - $50,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
