Are you an experienced CDL-licensed driver? Are you interested in working and living in Grand Teton National Park? Are you looking for an Experience of a Lifetime? If you answered, “Yes” to these questions, this position is great for you!

The Transportation / Shuttle Driver is responsible to drive buses in a defensive and courteous manner, never abusing equipment, handling tickets and luggage for guests. All drivers are expected to learn interpretive information about Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, possessing the ability to answer all guests' questions knowledgeably and accurately. Drivers are additionally responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the vehicles used.

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • 2 years prior experience in heavy equipment driving, preferably large bus or semi-truck
  • Valid US Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B with air brake and passenger endorsement (obtained at own expense)
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Current Medical Examination Report (valid for 2 years)
  • Pre-employment drug screen and random drug/alcohol testing as required by state and federal law
  • Clean driving record

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park

Drivers will be expected to work short, long, and split shifts, also floating days off are required to meet guests requirements.  Additionally, each driver is issued a company phone, is expected to answer that phone, and must be flexible to changes in shift schedules accordingly to call in needs.
