The role of Sr. Coordinator of Data Processing for the Merchandising Department is to assign, prepare, and enter a high volume number of POs in assigned category ahead of deadlines.  Create and maintain SKUs while ensuring data integrity is intact.  Facilitate resolution of receiving problems for the warehouse teams through email, telephone, and face-to-face communication in a timely manner.  Comfortably use Excel and Outlook to prioritize and manage a high volume work load.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work individually and with a team to perform high volume SKU creation and maintenance in AS 400/JDA.
  • Enter and revise POs in assigned category with a great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Manage communications in multiple email inboxes to assign and revise POs and resolve problems.
  • Own receipt problems within assigned category.  Use problem-solving, communication, and follow-up skills with buyers, warehouses, and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.  Proactively seek clarification before issues arise.
  • Maintain pricing integrity for all SKUs in assigned vendors.  Verify and perform price changes by manipulating data in Excel; entering changes into AS 400/JDA; and communicating changes to warehouses, stores, and buyers.
  • Communicate with buyers and vendors to maintain up-to-date vendor data and to create and revise order templates in Excel.
  • Establish relationships and work with Buyers, Merchandise Managers, and stores through telephone and email communications.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel and Outlook skills - required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – required
  • Strong drive to develop leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Previous leadership experience - preferred
  • Experience with database management systems - preferred
  • Experience with AS400 system - preferred
  • Fluently communicates in both written and verbal English - required
  • High School diploma or equivalent - required
  • Bachelor's degree – preferred
