This position is for a career oriented culinary professional with a positive attitude and willingness to be flexible. The advanced cook supervises food preparations and production of banquet operations and is able to perform a variety of culinary functions.

 

 Job Requirements

  • Continually demonstrates a high level of guest service, providing the experience of a lifetime.  
  • Maintains and upholds culinary culture of safety and respect.
  • Understands the importance of standards, speed and quality.
  • Demonstrates advanced culinary skill sets; knife skills, consistency and cleanliness.
  • Adheres to Vail Resorts Culinary Guidelines, Goals and Standards.
  • Checks quality of all food served and produced.
  • Must be able to work to end of season commitment date.
  • Prepares food to the specification of the Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Assist in the direction and supervision of other staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 2 years restaurant experience is required
  • 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Possesses passion for culinary excellence and guest service
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate well with others
  • Stable job history which demonstrates upward career progression
  • A flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time

 

The budgeted range starts at $15.00-$20.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
