Job Summary:

The Accounting Sr Specialist is a member of the Club Billing & Cash Application team. In this role you will accurately apply cash payments, manage and reconcile a variety of balance sheet accounts as they relate to daily processing of cash and club accounting, be responsible for club member billing, and respond promptly and accurately to internal and external stakeholder inquiries. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Post payments to varying systems, provide payment research, and perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist in billing support through the processes of company-wide cash application, Resort Signature Club billing, and accurate revenue & expense postings to club member accounts
  • Preparation/review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure transactional accuracy and compliance in the cash and club accounting space
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional and team attitude toward coworkers, internal and external customers, and management
  • Internal and external customer service with daily communication with Club members and operations
  • Focus on ongoing process improvement, making recommendations and participating/leading initiatives to improve efficiency among the direct team and stakeholders
  • Active participation in driving results to meet individual, team, and department objectives
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • Cash handling experience and bank reconciliation experience – Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field – Preferred
  • 1+ years accounting experience – Preferred
  • Previous experience using Club or ERP software (Jonas & PeopleSoft) – preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Self-starter with a drive for excellence, ability to build strong working relationships, and a proven ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment


The budgeted range starts at $43,000 - $49,450.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
