Job Summary: 

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Organization is comprised of over 300 different restaurants that share a commitment to bringing excellence to mountain dining as part of the overall ski experience. That commitment is powered by robust analytics and actionable insights. The F&B Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Strategy, Planning, and Performance function with analysis, modeling, governance, and maintenance of transactional data, dashboards, and tools. The F&B Data Analyst will also support operationalization of key data initiatives through management and maintenance of various programs and standards. 

 
Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and deploy consistent operational reports and analysis for key stakeholders 

  • Gather and develop business requirements; collaborate with business stakeholders on the analysis of business and functional issues; understand technical requirements, participate in solution design, quality assurance and execution 

  • Document and communicate findings and insights to business leaders; develop a robust documentation repository; document quality assurance process and any variations in findings; review and document data analysis methodology 

  • Ensure all compliance requirements (SOX/PCI) are met 

  • Develop code, data tables, data mining, and automate reports to support internal custom analytics 

  • Identify data sources needed to produce required data sets or reports; extract knowledge and information from large data sets 

  • Dynamic thinker with ability to participate in a robust, motivated and engaged team 

  • Analytical outlook that considers both quantitative and qualitative attributes in construction of data-backed narratives to be utilized by stakeholders with varied range of data consumption maturity 

  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and deduce meaning from limited amounts of available information 

  • Other duties as assigned 
     

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology or related field 

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful relevant work experience 

  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases 

  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft SSRS, SSIS and Excel 

  • Shown success in communicating ideas and providing recommendations using data 

  • Previous exposure to development, documentation and maintenance of business data models 

  • Passionate “learner” who sees technical skills as foundation for acquiring knowledge 

  • Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated customer-focused, service-first attitude 

  • Superior verbal & written communication skills and the ability to communicate with various levels of leadership 
     

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience with Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI or other similar tools 

 

The budgeted range starts at $67,000 - $81,150.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
