Vail Resorts’ EpicPromise includes the company’s nearly $13M in contributions, 25,000 employee volunteer hours, the EpicPromise Employee Foundation, and Commitment to Zero. The EpicPromise senior coordinator supports this enterprise wide program by helping administer and track the impact of employee engagement and communications for EpicPromise programs. In addition, this role works with the community giving team on the Company’s enterprise wide philanthropic efforts including the employee volunteer program, administer and track the impact of the company’s contributions and fulfillment of the company’s in-kind giving. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is adamant about details; possesses the ability to work with senior leadership as well as community partners; asks effective questions; manages ambiguity; and achieves results. The candidate must have strong project management, communication and database skills.

  • Managing employee engagement communications:
    • Social media efforts
    • Weekly updates and overall management of the Epic Promise website
    • Tracking NEO and Welcome Back calendar and team participation
    • Coordinate EpicPromise outreach planning meetings and work including enterprise wide Epic Promise Team efforts
    • Works with community, sustainability and foundation staff to draft EpicPromise communications to all resorts
    • Liaison to Employee Communications (Inside Epic Weekly, TW@B)
  • Serves as the champion of the Broomfield EpicPromise Team
  • Leads all Broomfield based Epic Promise events including the Front Range EpicPromise Week projects
  • Fulfillment and tracking of all company contributions
  • Manages execution and logistics of all community events

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Journalism, Communications, English or other applicable degree
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of effective social media strategies
  • Excellent organization and analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently and within the constraints of tight deadlines
  • Database management skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Preferred experience:

  • Umbraco or Website design experience
  • My Emma (email marketing software) experience    
  • Event planning skills
  • Media relations experience
