Transportation Coordinator - Remote Possible - Full Time - Summer Seasonal - Corporate

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Transportation Coordinator is to work with our Distribution Centers, preferred transportation providers and Customs Broker to ensure timely movements of goods, provide visibility to all VRR locations and help resolve any shipping issues that arise.

Job Responsibilities:

Freight

• Research on shipment delays, re-routing and shipment changes, etc. 
• Set up of new FedEx accounts and FedEx.com logins for new locations.
• Reviewing and processing freight invoices for payment.

• Attend monthly meetings with our TMS provider, assisting with any issues from internal parties or vendors with TMS shipments. 
• Assisting with the coordination of moves between internal Vail parties.
• Coordination of Rental bike off-season movement & storage with our preferred storage facility

Customs

• Assisting vendors or DC’s with questions on documentation, Customs requirements, etc.
• Assisting with any cross-border moves between US & Canada
• Audit of invoice and Customs entry documentation for accuracy
• Ensure monthly payment of duties due to CBSA. 

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• 1 years of specific transportation related experience.
• Preferred experience with FedEx and using a TMS
• Knowledge of Customs Clearance process a plus
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office
• Possess good communication and strong guest service skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, ability to work within a team

The budgeted range starts at $17.00 - $21.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
