Job Summary:

The Front Office Manager is a brave, results-oriented, and hardworking leader who provides oversight and leadership of resort operations throughout their team. We provide Epic Service by generating memorable moments and emotional connections with the team, homeowners and guests. The manager will also closely collaborate with supporting departments including Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, Resorts Sales and Revenue Management as well as the Resort HOA and the Developers. The manager assists with the day to day leadership of the Front Desk and its employees and handling many of the administrative and operational duties of maintaining the Front Office. Customer service is a key responsibility, from guest arrival to departure, in accordance with Vail Resort standards. This position is to plan, coordinate and supervise staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by the resort,

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high morale, good work environment, sense of integrity and guide the staff to follow the same values.
  • Align with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation.
  • Distribute and delegate work load to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses in terms of labor.
  • Communicate effectively to provide clear direction in assigning and guiding FD agents in details of work.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated guest and owner complaints, evaluate corrective actions and implement plan to resolve and de-escalate conflicts.
  • Lead finances of FD operations including payroll, budget, forecasts and inventory.
  • Provide staffing, training, counseling and performance reviews for the Front Desk department.
  • Ensure employees understand expectations and parameters.
  • Solicit employee feedback and review employee fulfillment results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
  • Emphasize guest happiness during all departmental meetings and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Develop strong working relationships with all departments.
  • Review all guest folios for accurate payment and credit card charges. Assist the accounting department in resolving various billing issues on guest folios.
  • Perform any additional tasks or projects as required.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 5 years Property Management or Hotel supervisory experience
  • Microsoft Office experience and skills
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Current US Driver’s License
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property

 

The budgeted range starts at $50,000-$60,900 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
