  • Starting Wage: $17 per hour
  • Effective October 2022 minimum wage will be increased to $20/hour

This position will be responsible for total guest satisfaction from pre-arrival contact, logistics in the bookings and reconfirmation of guests' reservations, fully acquainted with local points of interests. This position will communicate with guests and employees both verbally and in writing to answer questions, and provide clear direction in advising and instructing guests in resort details with a focus on luxury service.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, despite how busy or the time of day.
  • Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, directions to local attractions and restaurants, meeting rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc. according to individual needs.
  • Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity.
  • Implementing the flow of information to guests about hotel services, features and room amenities, alongside answering questions, giving directions and making detailed reservations or recommendations.
  • Assist in maintaining database and binder of vendor information as well as current area information, weather and grooming reports, restaurant specials and event.
  • Support of Front Desk operations when occupancy is low and concierge service is not needed.
  • Call guests daily during their stay (Mid Stay Call) to inquire about satisfaction and offer additional services/elevate experience.
  • Completion of shift checklists with all tasks completed to the highest standard.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism within your appearance, demeanor and performance.
  • Create the "WOW" factor at their first impression - arrival at the hotel.
  • Be aware of VIP guests
  • Ensure 100% compliance to uniform standards
  • Handling any guest comments or claims providing exceptional service and resolution.
  • Ensure that management/leadership team is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Successfully complete other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. -required
  • Able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently. -required
  • At least 1 year of guest service experience. -required
  • Concierge experience. -preferred
  • Knowledge of Summit County, Breckenridge and Breckenridge Mountain. –perferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook and Google Chrome. -required
  • Ability to read and respond to complex correspondence. -required
  • Ability to effectively present detailed information to guests and employees. -required
  • Able to work weekends, evening and holidays. -required
  • Flexible schedule required (Willing to work 35-40 hours per week, 4-5 days per week and split shifts). -required

 

The budgeted range starts at $17.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
