Job Summary:

The BCRC Strategic Initiatives Manager will be responsible for developing a multi-year plan to continue fulfilling the resort’s Vision. Utilizing the complex elements of the company’s Vision Action Plan and annual strategic initiatives established by the Board and Managing Director, the perfect candidate will possess the necessary leadership skills, knowledge and experience to work independently, utilizing institutional knowledge and finding new solutions to develop the next phase of the resort’s modernization.  This position will be the key driver for the future identity of Beaver Creek Village. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead conceptual ideas from feasibility to completion inclusive of research, project planning and management, timelines, budget, ROI and measurable goals.
  • Research and develop plans to improve impactful projects within the resort such as ADA access; Creekside Park Master Plan; upgrade of architectural and decorative Village Lighting;  and new concepts in alignment with the Board that strengthen the year-round economy through visitation.
  • Implement strategic initiatives and capital projects as directed.
  • Develop and obtain Board approval for multi-year strategic plan to drive energy, activation and modernization in Beaver Creek.
  • Develop measurement metrics to report on how initiatives contribute as economic drivers.
  • Build a new Lodging Based Initiative together with a Consultant (feasibility of program, economic impacts, budget planning and hiring).
  • Perform gap analysis of resort needs and opportunities against comp set.
  • Support Village Activation with BCRC Events Team & BC Village Ops as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree; project management certification preferred
  • Work Experience: Experience managing projects valued at $1 million and above.
  • Supervisory Experience: 5 years managing teams, consultants and staff
  • Licenses/Accreditations: Valid Driver's License
  • Project Management
  • Computer Skills: Word, Excel, CAD, Google docs
  • Language(s) Skill: Strong written and verbal communication
  • Available to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Strong leadership and project management. Must demonstrate ability to analyze and build feasibility for projects. Provide oversight of projects showcasing results, budget acuity and impact. Must be able to effectively present to internal and external constituent groups.  Must be a team player with excellent time-management, organizational, and people-management skills.

Preferred:

  • Complex plan development.  Project management.  Building or construction project and process experience helpful.  Must consistantly deliver measurable results and manage high expectations.  Skillfully navigate complex issues swifty and by providing solutions.

 

The budgeted range starts at $80,000-$97,700 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
