Beaver Creek Resort is looking for brave, ambitious, passionate individuals to join the mountain dining team. The main responsibility of the Reservations Manager at Beano's & Allie's Cabin is to provide an entrepreneurial spirit & personality in the reservations operation by bringing organizational skills, leadership and a warm and welcoming presence to all interactions. The goal is to operate the highest quality dining experience while still achieving profitability goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Reservations Manager is responsible for supervising and overseeing the reservation office for both Beano's Cabin and Allie's Cabin.
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, motivating and evaluating staff
  • Marketing for both restaurants (including with our marketing team, email blasts through
  • Working with our telecom department for IT/Phone bank needs and administration
  • Maintenance of any websites with restaurant listings
  • Ensure quality and consistency with administrative tasks
  • Ability to proactively and creatively problem solve to maintain an organized and efficient office
  • Communicate and facilitate cooperation between departments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Make employment and termination recommendations consistent with General Manager guidelines for approval or review.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations..
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
  • Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests..
  • Maintain a harmonious working relationship with other departments and non-Vail Resorts entities
  • Attend all required compliance and training classes
  • This position allows for flexibility and creativity. 
  • Other duties as assigned



  • High School Diploma or equivalent - required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent - preferred
  • Must be fluent in English - required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older - required
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant or other guest service experience - required
  • Minimum 2 years supervising 10 or more people - preferred
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with great attention to detail - required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge - required
  • Must have excellent leadership, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills - required
  • Ability to communicate and handle personnel issues and concerns with tact and professionalism - required
  • Online restaurant reservation system knowledge - preferred
  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.  Schedule flexibility is a must in order to meet the needs of the office.
