Beaver Creek Rental Operations Manager – JD/Responsibilities 

Operations

Rental/Service

  • Assist Regional Team & Store Operations support team to understand needs and provide critical feedback on level of store rental and winter/summer services
  • Assist with new & used junior trade program, allocation & replenishment of used equipment, training and service of the program in-store.
  • Provide direction on-site to layout and set-up of rental/service racking, Rental area - DIN, machines, shop – benches, tools
  • Training of new staff on Rental and Service Operations, machine maintenance and care, RPOS system, EST System, SharePoint related to Rental/Service.
  • Monitor timely and complete binding certifications, ASTM compliance, training documentation, MSDS and shop safety standards by all applicable store staff.
  • Rental and Service competitive pricing evaluation for location
  • Allocate time to spend in stores with Leads, Assistant Store Managers and Store Managers to conduct rental audits, review rental operations, receive feedback, answer questions and hold accountable to all defined company standards and practices. Coordinate receipt and transfer of all rental equipment
  • Ownership of tune operation equipment and racking
  • Align with global VR rental team
    • 5 pillar rentals- weekly calls
  • Align with group sales manager on group business- out front
  • Verify all required pre-inventory, inventory, and post inventory preparation, guidelines, and instructions are being followed
  • Coordinate rental reservation information with stores (uphold standards)
  • Coordinate ASTM testing and binding certification training
    • Pre & In-season Reporting
  • Verify that established rental operations standards are being maintained
    • Pre-Season Opening Rental/Service/Trade checklist
    • Closing Rental/Service Department checklists
  • Review rental reports, to ensure that they are run and utilized per policy
    • Overdue
    • In-Transit
  • Review inventory reports for proper status assignment, documentation, and necessary actions
  • Review rental contracts and accident reports for proper policy adherence
  • Inspect fleet for overall condition and maintenance requirements
  • Review the rental training binder periodically for organization, completeness, and updates
  • Verify that an adequate supply of forms, materials, and supplies on hand
    • Department update
  • Opening
  • Complete EST (Electronic Shop ticket) Training (where applicable)

 

Junior Trade

  • Coordinate allocation and transfer of all used trade equipment
  • Review on-hands of new & used equipment levels
  • Assist group sales manager with VIP program
  • Communicate cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Act as the Rental Systems Regional Trainer conducting classes and on-the-job training as required

Reporting - Financial

  • Weekly financial reporting - Monday
    • Trade/Rental/Service/Demo
    • Trade Sales/Units – New Used
  • Prepare Capital Forecast for Rental/Service machines, racking etc.
    • Calendar year
  • Coupa ordering
    • Capital/Non-expense items

 

Rental - Weekly

  • Overdues - Monday
  • In-transit - Monday
  • Reservations – Peak times (Holiday/School Break)
