  • The budgeted range starts at $44,000 - $48,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

 

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing daily golf operations. This includes ensuring play is tracked and managed, protecting and controlling assets, managing golf staff, overseeing tournaments, conducting lessons and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience. Typically, requires a minimum of two years of experience at a PGA facility and active PGA membership.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the financial and operational performance of the golf shop operations and golf services
  • Ensure all financial goals and objectives are being achieved
  • Assist in the development and preparation of budgets, including forecasting and review of all golf operations revenues and expenses on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Ensure systems controls are in place to safeguard assets, revenues, and resources
  • Oversee the reservation system, starting, monitoring, and pace of play
  • Track and verify all players and guests, green fees, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate accurate accounting and recordkeeping
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, motivate, coach, discipline and supervise entry level golf shop staff and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Ensure evaluations and annual reviews are completed and recorded for all golf shop staff
  • Assist merchandise manager with retail merchandise concession in step with the mission of the golf operation and facility
  • Assist merchandise manager in maintaining a profitable golf merchandising operation
  • Assist with development of buying plans and all golf related purchasing
  • Develop, provide, and oversee an enhanced golf instruction program offering individual and group clinics for all levels. Ensure that the services of a well trained staff of professional instructors are available where required
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work independently

 

Job Requirements:

  • PGA Membership or enrolled in the PGM program
  • Must have 3-5 years’ golf operations experience
  • Must have 3-5 previous experience managing line level employees
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • RPOS, Jonas, Microsoft office

Preferred:

  • English fluency

 

The budgeted range starts at $44,000 - $48,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
