The Product Sales/Scan Manager is responsible for the overall quality of the guest and employee experience in product sales, guest service, mountain host and scanning areas. This position has direct oversight of the Afton Alps product sales, scanning, and mountain host departments. They will uphold the highest guest service standards. This is achieved through focus on quality control, financial management, sales generation, teamwork, communication, guest relations, performance development, administrative duties, and self-development. 

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Five years guest service experience with at least three years in a supervisory role – Required
  • Strong ability to train employees to set service standards.
  • Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.  Must be willing to work evenings, holidays and weekends – Required.
  • MS office and RPOS proficiency – Required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form including communicating on the mountain radio.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to ensure: teamwork, high level guest contact, fact finding for appropriate decision making, commitment to guest service and employee relations.
  • Must demonstrate ability to receive and give direction and act upon it.
