Summary of Job: As part of our grounds keeping team you be responsible for the upkeep and appearance of the golf course, surrounding grounds and ski slopes.  You will be vital in the beautification of the property and maintaining the high standards set by our mantra of “Experience of a Lifetime” for our guests.



Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs semiskilled grounds construction, maintenance work and related tasks as needed
  • Golf course maintenance includes: weed whipping, filling divots, hand dirt work mowing greens, tees, fairways, roughs and sand bunkers
  • Drive lawn mowers, golf carts, and utility carts with pull behind trailers
  • Maintain and clean cart paths, parking lots, restrooms and other facilities as assigned
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of irrigation system
  • Assist in the application of fertilizers and pesticides
  • Maintain bike trails and ski slopes
  • Maintain disc golf and foot golf courses
  • Other job duties as assigned






Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Age:  Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Work Experience: Good work ethic and dependability.
  • Preferred Skills: Possess excellent employee and public relations skills and enjoy working with the public.
  • Indoor/Outdoor: Enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather. 
  • Equipment Used: Shovels, rakes, brooms and other hand-held snow grooming equipment.
  • Machinery Used: Push mowers, blowers, string trimmers, ride on mowers.
  • This position is seasonal running approximately May through October.
  • Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.  Must be willing to work holidays and weekends – Required.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to ensure: teamwork, high level guest contact, and commitment to guest service.
  • Must demonstrate ability to receive and give direction and act upon it.
  • Ability to communicate fluently with coworkers and guests in English.

  • This position works primarily outside, and requires prolonged periods of standing and walking on slippery and/or uneven ground or steep slopes.
  • Must be able to remain seated for prolonged periods operating mowing machinery.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
  • Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, hear, see, repetitive motions, carry, as needed for most of your work day.
