As of Nov. 15, 2021, Vail Resorts will be requiring all employees across North America to be vaccinated for COVID-19.


To coordinate all rental buy, operational and merchandising functions of the rental shop to attain maximum profitability, productivity and a world class guest experience. Provide proper training and establish a cohesive team that will cultivate pride and professionalism in their work. Generate sales, and provide unparalleled guest service. Handle guest and personnel complaints. Responsible for the fitting of boots, skis and snowboards in the Children's center. Maintain overnight storage of equipment in racks inside/outside. Be able to explain rental charges and ski school products to the parents. Assist families in the placement and labeling of ski/snowboard equipment, as well as the completion of rental/liability forms and proper payment through the ticket sellers. Help with ski search, star rides, downloading if staffing permits.Must have a caring and helpful attitude and enjoy working with children of all ages. 


Responsibilities include; but are not limited to: 


  • Interview, hire and train all employees prior to opening day and throughout the season
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings and on going training of all employees
  • Help with set up, organizing, and  inventory  of equipment pre season/post season
  • Pass the required binding certificaton for VR rental shop products.
  • Be knowledgeable of rental shop equipment and charges as well as ski school products
  • Responsible for the fitting of boots, skis, and snowboards for childrens ages 3 to teen
  • Communicate with counselors, magic carpet, Insructors, and tickets sellers on product levels/availibility.
  • Perform other tasks: ski search, star rides, downloading as staffing allows.



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Proper fitting methods for ski & Snowboard equipment, binding certification
  • Bilingual (spanish)
  • Skiing terms related to children, telephone skills, guest service skills, knowledge of ski/snowboard tuning equipment


The budgeted range starts at 16.50-20.77.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
