The Breckenridge Mountain Operations is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our highly successful Lift Operations Team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast pace office environment and assist with daily administrative duties as they pertain to Lift Operations.  This includes processing payroll, key supporter for Lift Operations Management and initial contact for employee inquiries.  Responsibilities include purchasing, completing data entry in an accurate and timely fashion, respond to employee’s inquiries, and various administrative duties.  Frequent exposure to sensitive information where maintaining confidentiality is essential.  Will assist with all aspects of the office and various projects as assigned.


Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • First point of contact for Lift Operations
  • Payroll for Lift operations staff (About 200 employees), which includes correcting exceptions, input times when needed, distribute timecard reports and approve payroll on a biweekly basis
  • Completing HR / Benefits paperwork for Lift Operations Departments including hiring, employee housing allocation, transferring, and terminating employees in a timely manner
  • Purchasing / PO generation for Lift Operations Departments
  • Act professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • General office duties including filing and mail distribution
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Assist Managers with other duties and projects as assigned



  • High School degree or equivalent - required.
  • Office and administrative/clerical experience - required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) - required
  • Must read, speak and comprehend English and possess writing and editing skills - required.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills - required.
  • Ability to work independently for extended periods of time - required.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented - required.
  • Prior Vail Resorts experience - preferred.  
  • Experience with RPOS software - preferred.


The budgeted range starts at $16.75-$18.75.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
