Summary:  The Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring equipment, machinery and vehicles are in safe, workable, operating condition. They will oversee as well as perform service and repair of all equipment and vehicles including diesel/gas engine diagnostics and repair. 


Responsibilities: (the following job description in no way constitutes an employment contract, and the duties of the position may be changed or amended at any time, with or without notice):

  •  Train and support garage staff and provide supervision.
  • Appropriately schedule staff.
  • Regularly communicate with management, operations, and others regarding the status of vehicles and other equipment.
  • Ensure maintenance department maintains quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure maintenance is performed safely, effectively, and expeditiously.
  • Perform and monitor vehicle inspections.
  • Review work orders and ensure parts inventory is maintained.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
  • Test vehicles to determine necessary repair as needed.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
  • Abide by all policies and procedures of Wildcat Mountain.
  • All other duties as assigned.



  • Must be at least 18 years of age with at least 5 years’ experience in diesel engine repair and diagnostics on heavy vehicles, hydraulics, equipment and related components.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with use of repair manuals, electrical wiring and schematics necessary to troubleshoot. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs frequently and 75 lbs maximally and be able to withstand sustained periods of standing/walking.
